Making a statement with their debut single 'Hot City', See Thru Hands are a fun-loving Mancunian sextet who've been turning heads around the city with their brilliantly self-described raw, disco-infused punk-funk. Arriving as the first release on Ruf Kutz, the influential and eclectic new label run by producer, DJ, NTS radio host and label boss Ruf Dug, 'Hot City' is an apocalyptic oxymoron of a track. Contrasting dance-inducing beats, groovy bass parts and sharp guitar lines with worryingly doomy lyrics, it's an oddly carefree celebration of the end of the world as we know it. The band explain, “Hot City was meant to be tongue in cheek but it’s turning into more of a prophecy than satire at this point.
